Number Sense has obtained seed funding for our two-year pilot so that, during this initial period, the project is free to schools.

At our current scale, our expenditure is modest, but our long-term goal is to build an organisation which can support thousands of children across hundreds of schools.  This will require establishing stable sources of funding.

A target financial goal is to provide the one-to-one support sessions for a full year at an all-in cost of £160 per child (before inflation).  We intend to raise the majority of this cost through funders, with the balance coming from a small charge per child to the schools.

We are developing a multi-year strategic plan incorporating all elements of expenditure.  We will share this with prospective major funders, but we do not intend to make it public until we have more experience with managing against our growth, expenditure, and income targets.
